QR-code is a two-dimensional matrix code was developed in 1994 by japanese company Denso-Wave. The name "QR" is abbreviation of english "Quick Response" which means it's implication. There can be encoded any information by this code, which will be converted in binary-number system later. Currently QR-code collects increased popularity - this is an effect of mobile gadget's active propagation and simplicity of using this code.

You can create QR-code with your own text on this page, but you need know some features of this process. Maximum symbol's length for placing in one QR-code:

  • for digits - 7089 symbols;
  • for digits and letters (Latin) - 4296 symbols;
  • binary code - 2953 Bytes (about 2953 symbols in Cyrillic encoding Windows-1251 or about 1450 symbols in utf-8 encoding);
  • hieroglyphs - 1817 symbols.

ECC - (Error-Correcting Code) ses for failures' and errors' correcting when data is transmitting by the passing of excess ordering information. By this excess information can be repaired original content of sending, in our example - content of QR-code. Data attached to QR-image permits to find out fact of failure and corrects inessential error. There are four types correction:

  • L - Low - Low level correction, it increases information's volume approximately for 7-15%
  • M - Middle - Middle level correction, it increases information's volume approximately for 10-20%
  • Q - Quality - Qualitative level correction, it increases information's volume approximately for 15-24%
  • H - High - High level correction, it increases information's volume approximately for 20-30%

Before you will choose required correction's level you have to specify the place of QR-code. If it is surface which can be damaged, then in this case will be reasonable to choose High level error's correction. Still if it will be resistant surface - you need use the lower level of error's correction.
